Because "brushed nickel" isn't a colour
A typical bathroom is assembled from four or five suppliers. The tapware comes from one, the toilet from another, the floor waste is whatever the plumbing merchant had, and the door handle is bought last, from a hardware store, months later.
Each of those decisions is reasonable on its own. Together they produce a room where four things are described as the same finish and none of them match. It's the most common complaint at handover and the most expensive to fix, because by then everything is installed.
Carrying all seven ranges is the answer to that. Order the fit-out once, in one finish, and the pieces match because they came from the same place.
Spec checked before it ships
The most expensive mistake in this trade isn't buying the wrong colour — it's buying something that physically doesn't fit. A pan with the wrong set-out, a sink 20 mm too wide for the cabinet, a lever with a 70 mm backset for a door bored at 60.
So we ask for the numbers before the order goes through, not after it arrives. Trap type and set-out for toilets. Cabinet width and benchtop material for sinks. Backset and door thickness for hardware. It takes one message and saves a return freight.
What we won't do
- Quote without knowing the set-out, then let you discover the problem on site.
- Describe a finish as matching when it comes from a different manufacturer.
- Supply anything plumbed-in without WaterMark certification.
- Refuse to send you the certification documents for what you've bought.
Australian requirements
Products that connect to the drinking water or drainage system must carry WaterMark certification to be legally installed in Australia under the Plumbing Code of Australia. Tapware, showers, toilets and urinals must also display a WELS water efficiency rating under the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005.
